Sandra Dingwall commenced the ella & jaks label in the year of 2008.


Sandra spent many years working for a children's publisher, running bakeries and owning a funky cafe, honing her customer, operational and administrative skills.


After a hiatus from the workforce Sandra began creating in a different way. Always drawn in by textiles, textures and, in particular, colours Sandra began ella & jaks.

All of the ella & jaks creations strive for practicality, functionality and of course, style. A woman is looking for a bag that is not just an accessory but a signature.


Recently Sandra has spent time in consultation with clients developing signatures for their business. Using the colours incorporated in the business logo, combined with the business mission statement and the image required for the client, successful collaborations have resulted.


The future for ella & jaks sees more development into this 'custom design' service for not only business clients, but anyone wanting to develop their own signature.
